What's new in Rowledger
Every improvement to the reader ships to everyone at once. There is nothing to update on your side.
All notable changes to Rowledger. Dates are release dates.
0.2.0, released 2026-08-23
- Multi-account PDFs: a statement that bundles checking and savings (or one balance per currency) is split into separate statements, each reconciled and exported on its own.
- OCR preprocessing for photos: grayscale, contrast stretch and automatic deskew. A 2.5°-tilted photo now converts with every row reconciling.
- Decimal-less currencies (JPY, KRW): integers with thousands grouping are read as amounts.
- Layout coverage from an independent adversarial test set: Bank of America two-checks-per-line grids, Wells Fargo end-of-day balances with duplicate check summaries, Lloyds/HSBC brought- and carried-forward rows, TD Canada date-after-amounts, Amex per-cardmember sections, credit-union summary boxes aligned with table columns, BBVA two-date layouts, ICICI deposits-before-withdrawals, jittered scan-like text.
- German S/H and DB amount suffixes, OD balances, trailing currency codes, FX detail lines, pending-transaction sections.
- Sample picker with five sample statements; landing pages per accounting platform (QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, Wave, Sage, FreshBooks, Quicken).
- One-command Polar setup for the owner.
