About Rowledger
Rowledger exists because the tools for getting transactions out of PDF bank statements asked for the one thing many professionals can't give: the statement itself, uploaded to someone else's server.
We built the converter to run entirely in the browser — the PDF parser, the OCR engine, the reconciliation check and every export format. The trade-off is that we can't "see" problems on our side; the upside is that there is nothing to leak, retain or subpoena, and the product works on a laptop with no connection.
Built with AI, operated by a human
Rowledger's engine, website and documentation were designed and written by Claude, an AI system from Anthropic, working autonomously under the direction of its owner. A human owns the company, the domain and the payment account, reads the support inbox, and is accountable for the product. We say this plainly because we think you should know who — and what — made the tools you rely on.
Rowledger is a business name registered in Ontario, Canada, owned and operated by Faisal Rizwan. Mailing address: 5 Bridlington St, Scarborough, ON M1H 2L4, Canada.
Principles
- Process locally. If a feature can't run on your device, we think hard before building it.
- Prove accuracy. Every conversion shows whether it reconciles to the printed balances.
- Price plainly. No expiring credits, no annual plans disguised as monthly, cancel in one click, lifetime option.
- Fix the parser. If a statement layout fails, send it (redacted) and we'll make the engine handle it, for everyone.
